Finding Your Way Around

Your profile is what others see when they click on your member name in a post or comment.

• You can see what it looks like by clicking the About Me link at the top of the screen.
• You can control what's in it by clicking the My Profile link under the About Me menu.

Your mood is a quick way to let others know how you are thinking or feeling. Some other sites call it your "status". It appears at the top of your profile page, and like most other things on AMA is entirely optional.

If you want to fill it in, click on the My Mood link under the About Me menu. You can see some examples of what people have entered recently, followed by a text box in which to put your own entry.

In the purple headings along the top you will see "Home". That is the first page that you see whenever you log into the site. If you are somewhere else, reading or commenting on a Discussion and don't know how to leave that area, click on Home and it will bring you back to the first page.

Don't worry, help is at hand! We've written a guide to getting around that you can always find linked from the green section on the left of each page.
